Hi I'm Alyssa

I'm a nurse. I'm obsessed with traveling the world. I love to run, hike, and dance. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 23-year-old girl who just recently graduated from college and is now working as a registered nurse. I love my job, my friends, and my family. I have been fortunate to travel to many places around the world, including England, France, Italy, and Holland. Two of my favorite places I've been are India and Ghana. I fall in love with the culture wherever I go and persistently think of ways I can go back. I grew up in California and miss the beach every single day. I love running, hiking, and doing anything active outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. Ever since I was a little child, I have grown up learning about Jesus Christ and His gospel, and it is the knowledge I have gained of my Savior and His plan for me that has brought me the most peace and happiness throughout my life. I am grateful for the principles of the Gospel, especially that of prayer. I know that God hears and answers my prayers. Whenever I have been faced with difficult decisions in life, it has been the greatest comfort to know that I am not alone and that I have a Heavenly Father to talk with through the power of prayer. I love the gospel. I know it is true! I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I know he suffered and died for me on the cross so that I can be forgiven of my sins. And I love being Mormon, because I know it is the one consistent thing in my life that has always brought me happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by standing as an example of the Lord Jesus Christ at all times. I serve on a missionary council at church where we share messages of our faith with others, and we facilitate any needs to meet with the missionaries to learn more about the gospel.
