Hi I'm Blue

I'm a flight attendant and I love people, art, baking, music, writing stories, travel, and my family. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Two of my favorite activities are helping people and travel, so being a part-time flight attendant has been the perfect career for me. I have two wonderful kids who make this world a better place, and I love spending time with my family. When I'm not jetting around the world, I enjoy creating art, music, baking beautiful cakes, reading, writing and serving others. Life is so full of beauty and wonder. Though it hasn't always been easy, if you do your best things somehow always work out in the end, and I'm a better person because of all I've gone through.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I was really lucky that people took me to church growing up. It was there that I learned the gospel of Jesus Christ, which anchored me and kept me from making a lot of poor choices I could have made otherwise. When I grew up, I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it...which may sound simple but it's the truth. My prayer was answered by our Heavenly Father. I know He knows and loves each of us and has given us the gospel of Jesus Christ to bless our lives. It's really that simple. As an adult, many people I love have not chosen to believe in God. I am still a Mormon, because I had an experience that taught me personally that it matters to God that I stay in this church. For me, just like you and everyone else, life has provided ample challenges to overcome, but through the atonement of Jesus Christ, I am (slowly!) being transformed into a better person. That's the power of living the gospel.

How I live my faith

It's a joy to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Regular participation in church meetings and activities has provided me with a wealth of dear friends, support and comfort during hard times, and taught me truths that have blessed me and my family in countless ways. Serving others is one of the best ways to grow. There are so many needs in this world, and I'm grateful for the opportunities Mormons have to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of people everywhere.
