Hi I'm Brody

I am from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I grew up with a large family. I'm a mormon.

About Me

As an older brother in a family of nine children I've had a lot of opportunities to explore different interests. Music has been one of those. My dad played guitar when he was younger and introduced it to our family when i was young. I picked it up from him and I've played it ever since. I love it. I love the outdoors. This love began when I started as a scout, and as I've grown, taking trips to mountains, and hiking, ejoying nature. I love family and friends. There's nothing like the personal relationships that we can build each day. I've done some time at college and am still trying to figure out what I want to pursue in a career! When I was 19, I served a partial mission for six months, where I shared my feelings about the Gospel with people in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church so much. As I've grown up in the church, I didn't always know that it was true. I followed the guidance of my parents and those around me. But once I got a little older I needed to know for myself if it was true. I remember when I was around 14 years old we went to Palmyra, New York, as a youth group, to be able to view church sites about Joseph Smith and the Mormon church. As I heard peers around me bearing feelings of how they knew the church was true, an undeniable feeling came over me. It was a feeling of love and emotion. A feeling that helped me know the church is true.Throughout the years this feeling is something that I seek every day. And I find it as i study the Book of Mormon, go to church, and pray to God. I absolutely know that this church is true. It gives me the answers that we seek about life. It helps me know that I can live with my family forever. It helps me know that I can recieve forgiveness and peace from any mistakes I make in this life, because of a Savior who died for us and took our mistakes on himself, even Jesus Christ. This Gospel helps me be happy. Truly Happy.

How I live my faith

It's wonderful that I can go to church each week, and strengthen my dedication to God. For me in particular, I teach different adults from the scriptures inlcuding the Bible and The Book of Mormon. I love the fact that I'm able to learn and be strengthened each week. When I'm not at church during the week, I am at home or working. I try and find a time to read from the scriptures each day which helps me to feel God's love. The scriptures, along with daily prayer helps me be in communication with Him each day.
