Hi I'm Nathan

I love to create. I love my Heavenly Father, the ultimate creator. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to draw and write. At this point, I'm not too sure how I would use my interests toward any specific career. I started studying engineering at BYU-Idaho, but as I go about daily on my mission, I hope to really connect with myself and the Lord, and really see what my full potential is and what the Lord would have me do, both for him and for my fellow man. One of my more central loves is seeing things move and work, and this has led me to a desire to study areas of mechanics and robotics. I love systems and figuring out how things work, both in the world and in spiritual things. I do not know now what exactly the Lord would have me do with my talents, but I have faith that He will guide and show me how I might live to my greatest potential and fulfill all that he would ask of me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church. I am the youngest of six children, all of which has had instilled in them from early age by my parents the teachings and principles of the gospel. So as a child, I never really paid much mind to the workings of the church, just that it was what life was. As I grew older, however, I began to nurture and deep interest in, not only what the gospel teaches, but how all of it works. I have continued to this day to live and exercise my faith in such a way that has grown my testimony in immense capacities. I know that this gospel is the full truth, and I believe it to be what God would have us follow for us to be more like His son, our savior, Jesus Christ. I know of the truth and power of the atonement, that Christ gave up His life for all of us that we might come unto him and be forgiven of our transgressions. I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he was key to restoring the truth on the Earth, after the great length of time that the power and glory of God had been taken up from this world. I believe that God speaks to his prophets today, and that through the Light of Christ we have the ability to hear and testify of His words ourselves.

How I live my faith

Right now, I have been called to work as a Ward Missionary in the church. I am grateful to the Lord for extending this call to me as it has helped prepare me for my upcoming missionary service and allow me to help out the Missionaries that work in this area to the spreading of the gospel. It has enriched me to be a better individual and more caring to all those around me, stranger or acquaintance. I have gained powerful values of loving everyone around me, and I hope that I will continue in this trend and have faith that this trait will be of great use to me on my mission.
