Hi I'm Raymond

I grew up in Colorado. I am a Father, husband, Veteran, Boy Scout Leader, a teacher and a correctional officer and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a Father of two great children. I have a son from a previous marriage and a daughter that was placed for adoption to a wonderful family. I have been married to a wonderful wife for the passed five years. I have served 16 years in the U.S. Navy/ Naval Reserves. I am a devoted Assistant Scout Master to my son’s Troop. I have attended a technical collage for a AS and moved on to the University leave to complete my undergraduate degree in engineering. I am a substitute teacher for the local school district.

Why I am a Mormon

For me family is a very important part of my life. I had seen that there was a lot of similarities to Judaism and the Mormon faith. I had a thirsted for more knowledge about our heavenly father and my place with in his plan of salvation from this I found that the Book of Mormon to be true and we have a living prophet.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my calling to the wards 11 year old Boy Scout Troop. I find it very challenging compared to my sons none LDS Troop, were there a boy lead troop and having 10-18 year old all in one meeting. I am all so the president of the adult Sunday school class, it is a great blessing to introduce new or visiting members to the class as well introducing the teacher for the lesson.
