Hi I'm Karl

I grew up in Southern California. I thoroughly enjoy sports and games. I would run forever if I could. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Orange County as an only child. I played baseball, soccer, and tennis growing up and in high school I started to run cross country/track. I go to college now on the East Coast and am studying to become a mechanical engineer. I am preparing to serve a mission in Singapore.

Why I am a Mormon

I was somewhat religious my whole life. I would always pray at night, but it was a practiced routine which I did just in case God existed and as a way to ask Him for something. When I was introduced to this church by my friend, I felt something I hadn't felt before. I was initially scared to come my first time because I had always seen religion as a stressful/difficult thing, but that was completely the opposite of what I felt when I went to the church. Everyone was so happy and welcoming. I started to take missionary lessons and learned more and was baptized a few months later. This church truly makes me happy and I know it is the true church that Jesus Christ established.

How I live my faith

I strive to show the happiness I feel in this church through my interactions with everyone I meet. I think it's important to help others feel loved and cared for. I home teach with one of my best friends in the church to help those in need and to uplift them spiritually. I read my scriptures, pray, fast, teach, learn, and go to church to help me grow more in my understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
