Hi I'm Kelli

I'm a wife. I'm a new mom. I like to bake. My favorite season is summer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I met my husband at BYU. We moved to Kentucky in 2012 so that he could begin dental school. Soon after moving to Kentucky, I had a baby boy! Even though I am far from family, have taken a cut in how often I get to see my studious husband, and am not getting as much sleep as I would like (thanks to an adorable little person), I am enjoying this time in my life. I am learning lot's of new things about being a wife, being a mother, and about being a better me! I love life and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Mormon church because I have a testimony that it is true. I believe that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true. Time and time again, I have felt peace and assurance as I am consistently obedient to the principles taught in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have seen those who dedicate their life fully to the gospel live in joy and serenity, despite hardship. I have also seen people live contrary to the gospel's teachings, and bitterly regret it. I believe this is Christ's gospel, restored again to the earth, and aimed at helping us fulfill all that we have to do while on earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in my church's organization. I work with a handicap boy and try to help him feel God's love for him. I try to love and serve those around me. I strive to prioritize my life and dedicate time every day to the most important things, like spending time with and serving my family, friends and neighbors. I try to keep God's commandments. I ponder the words of Latter-day prophets and apply their teachings into my life.
