Hi I'm Thomas Lee Weir

I grew up in Los Angeles. I served in the US Army and worked in the Aerospace industry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was commissioned in the United States Army in 1975 and had more than twenty years in key command and staff positions until retirement from the United States Army in 1995. Eleven of my twenty military years were spent in international assignments. After retirement from the United States Army, I was employed by McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems and Boeing responsible for managing all international helicopter marketing and sales until June 2000 when joining Sikorsky. Since June 2000 I have been the Director of Sales of Sikorsky helicopters to the Middle East, residing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and responsible for all helicopter sales to the Middle East and North Africa.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who provided a plan that we might be able to again return to His presence. Through to sacred atonement, God gave His only begotten Son to pay for our sins, sorrows and sufferings. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that if we follow the doctrines of Christ we can be happy in this life, and receive a fullness of joy in the life hereafter.

How I live my faith

My church service includes serving as a patriarch, stake president, bishop, ward mission leader and as a missionary in the Germany Central (Dusseldorf) Mission. I earnestly seek to know what God would have be do to better serve my fellowman.
