Hi I'm Becky

I grew up in Dothan, Alabama. . I am married with 6 children & 8 Grandchildren. I am a Mormon

About Me

I love to cook. I have been the cook for girls camp for about 20 years. I love it. I also love to teach. I have taught many how to make my famous cinnamon rolls. I taught Early Morning Seminary for 6 years. The best time of my life. For all my Seminary graduates I made them a Wedding cake when they got married. I love to sing. I have always sang in the choir at church. Good music brings me closer to the spirit. I have a need to have flowers in my yard and in my home.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church. I know that God Lives, that Jesus is the Christ. That Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. That the Gospel has been restored in these latter days. I know We have a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, on the earth today. I was baptized when I was eight years old . Now I am 61. I remember the testimony I had then and how much it has grown now. I am a Mormon because I know the church is true.

How I live my faith

I fix meals for Missionary Zone Conferences for about 40 people. This happens once every 3 months. It used to be once a month. I have loved doing this service. I have taught many of my Heavenly Fathers children along their pathway of life. My greatest love is to teach and help others. I read my scriptures daily. I have been doing a program where you read in the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price in one year. I have really enjoyed this and learned so much. All of these scriptures testify of Christ. I try to find someone to serve daily. I have found that this has helped me more than I think it has helped the ones I have served.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

I just finished helping our Stake furnish 1600 blankets for the brown bag program for the elderly in Dothan, Alabama. It was amazing how we needed 1600 and that's what we received. Helping others in our community and around the world is our belief. Show more Show less
