Hi I'm Michelle Shelle C. Best Willie

College Grad, I have lived in San Jose, & Cupertino, CA. Studied MBA. in Logan, UT, Musician. I play viola.

About Me

I are thankful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ making it possibly for us to be resurrected. I can be with an eternal family, if we live worthy. Knowing this helps my family, because my Mother died at a young age, of ovarian cancer. My husband and I have the opportunity to volunteer as service missionaries ,at our local LDS Family History Library. We help people find their ancestors and other family. Geneaology helps us know where we came from. It helps us understand ourself, and also builds self-esteem. It helps our children and future generations learn from the past, so that they do not have to repeat our mistakes. I first had an interest in this, at the young age, of 12. My husband and I come from Mormon Pioneer Immigrant Ancestors. We are proud to go back to Wyoming, where they travelled, hike the mormon trail, and pretend we are pioneers, too, by camping out, and cooking our meals, with a fire, for three days. We have enjoyed taking care of the 18 month to 3 years olds at the Nursery, at church. We have also enjoyed teaching the young children, in the Primary organization, who are four, five, six, and seven years old, called CTR-A. CTR stands for Choose The Right. Before we were married, my Husband and I both taught Sunday School, for the adults. My favorite Sunday School age to teach is the 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 year olds. I love the teenagers. I have been a Ward Librarian, Chorister, Newsletter Committee, and Relief Society Counselor, our women's organization.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in following Jesus Christ and the Ten Commandments. I believe in Prophets, and I believe Joseph Smith, Junior was a Prophet. I know the Book of Mormon is the Word of God, along with the Holy Bible, and the Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price. I want to be with Heavenly Father some day. I am thankful the Holy Ghost guides me in choosing the right, and he comforts me, in times of trials. I loved being a Volunteer Service Missionary. I have always wanted to be a Missionary, but could not because of health issues. I love to serve in the Temple. I love to do genealogy, and family history.

How I live my faith

By giving service to others, we follow the Savior's example. We attend church meetings weekly. Our faith has three goals: Perfecting the Saints, Redeeming our Dead, and Proclamming the Gospel. We believe that all mankind may be saved by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel. By living our faith, and striving to keep the commandments; we can be worthy to attend the Temple. We believe that life is eternal, and does not end with death. We believe in searching out out ancestors and their families so that they can be given the opportunity that they may not have had in this life. That is why we enjoy serving as workers at the local LDS Family History Center, and helping others. The Temple allows our ancestors to have the same blessings that we have in this life. We believe in living the Ten Commandments, and following Christ's example. We are thankful for his Atonement, the forgiveness we receive upon repentance. We are thankful that through his life, and resurrection, we can be together as families, and live forever, with our Father in Heaven, and our Lord and Saviour. Our Faith gives us a path to follow to know that our progression and training towards being like God goes on after our lives on Earth end. Our Spirits continue to learn and grow.

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

Michelle Shelle C. Best Willie
I believe that reading the scriptures, praying, and having a regular weekly Family Home Evening, with a Family Council helps us be on the right track. I believe that avoiding music, movie, and worldly entertainment that is only for mans gratification and enjoyment and changing our life to a life of service, of doing, instead of watching helps us be like Our Savior, Jesus Christ. Spending our time on service, instead of watching television, movies, video games, social media, texting, etc. makes us happy, it makes other people happy and it serves God. I believe that the best entertainment in the world is playing beautiful music and doing family history and genealogy. I believe the : "Article of Faith 13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things." A Husband and time should make regular time for each other and intimacy. Single people should seek to be celibate and protect the virtue that our Father and Heaven, God has given them, until they are married. The most special thing in the whole world is saving yourself, for the ONE person, whom you have chosen to marry, and rear children with. The most important thing we can do is to dress modestly and in time of thinking of carnal desires, sing an uplifting song, or do some service. Show more Show less
