Hi I'm DeBryn

I share my soul through paint brushes and ivory keys. Regina Spektor keeps me sane. I love people. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing tennis, painting, playing the piano and spending time with my family. I am extremely passionate about music. Ingrid Michaelson is my jam and Regina Spektor makes the music I wish I could. I'm a student at Utah State University and I LOVE it. I've been involved in USU Housing as a Resident Assistant and then the National Communications Coordinator for the Residence Hall Association. It's a lot of words, but it's so much fun. I've decided to put all of this on hold so I can serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Seoul, Korea for the next 18 months. It's not easy to leave these things behind, but having the chance to share my love for the Christ and His church with the people of Korea is an opportunity that I have been looking forward to my whole life.

Why I am a Mormon

There is really nothing in this world that has brought me greater joy than the gospel of Jesus Christ. There have been times in my life where I have felt inadequate, or have felt miserable, but when I lean on Christ and trust in Him, I feel that peace and joy that can only come through Him and I know that I can keep on going.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying daily, studying the scriptures, attending church, and listening to the prophets and apostles. These things help me build a relationship with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. The more I do these things and feel their love for me, the more desire I have to live a righteous life and make good decisions.
