Hi I'm tricia

I grew up in a baptist home. I am married and have 3 great kids. I'm a stay home mom. I spend my time with my kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a Baptist home with great parents and 2 brothers. I'm married my husband is or was a youth pastor when I joined the church. I have three wonderful children and proud of the kids they are today and they don't live by the worldly but what they know who God wants them to be. I love just listening to my children and talking to them. Any free time I have like listening to christian music and reading my scriptures. I'm the only Mormon in my family. I love spending time with my children and family. I have many rough times in my life since I joined coming from anti Mormon friends and family but as long as I am focus on following Christ and trying to live his ways I can get through each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Baptist home. I was taught to stay away from Mormon missionaries. My husband is going to school to be a Baptist preacher and is a youth pastor well was until I joined the church. We had missionaries come to our house Dec 2011. We decided to let them visit us but the true reason was to convert them. I read all the anti Mormon material online. I refused to read the book. That April of 2012 they stop coming. One day August 2012 I had a strong feeling I needed to contact the missionaries but didn't know why but didn't contact them. 2 weeks later they were at my door one missionary said for past few weeks he felt he had to come here. He asked us to read the book of Mormon but an open mind this time. I saw no harm said yes I read 50 pgs 1st day couldn't put it down. By the end of the week I read the book. I was so scared cause I saw it could be true and for this to happen to me mean I might lose my husband if I stood up for this ir be disowned by my parents. I told them I can't have these thoughts in my head due to what would happen. They said pray about it. I did I know right there the book was true everything was true what they thought us. I knew I had to stand up for what was true and faced many tough months to get baptized and that was a miracle itself. Afterwards I faced a lot of long hard days. I know without God and Christ I never could be able to make it through each day. Today I take one day at a time and stay focus on Christ. This is why and how I found out the gospel is true. I be anymore happy since the day I became a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying focus on Christ and following his ways by helping others and any change I get to share with them the love God and Christ has for us. I try to put others first and not judge others by what their past is cause everyone needs to learn about God and Christ love he has for us and the gospel. And everyone can change for we all are looking for one thing that is to be loved and happy but many don't see they can get this through God and following Christ.
