Hi I'm Romulo Natural

I am a Filipino. I'm a convert. It's a joy to inspire others once you are also inspired yourself that's why I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished serving as a full-time missionary. I am now working as an article writer in a website developing company. I love to write. I love to see other people's lives changed because of reading. That's what happened to me also.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that God works on His perfect timing for each of us. I was studying as a freshman student away from my family when the missionaries contacted them. They were living in a rented house and were planning to transfer to a farther place within a week but after the missionaries came and taught them, the plan was canceled. Rather they payed the house and continued to live there. Then, I came. The discussion continued. We came to love the missionaries and the Gospel. We decided to be baptized May 2004. It was a very memorable moment to us. However, conversion happened years after that. As I grew up I felt that I needed to have my own testimony also of the Church and everything that it teaches. I read the Book of Mormon and reread it. I continued to pray and asked for confirmation. It didn't happen that quick. But as I continued to do it again and again, and as I let myself be aware of the gospel, I came to believe and know that the Church is true. And now, each time I fulfill my calling and see each member and non member change because of the gospel and the teachings of the Church, my testimony is always strengthened by it. I know Heavenly Father lives and that Jesus Christ is our Savior. They both love us. These are the reasons why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continuously trying to be closer to my Savior. I live my faith by doing all that I can do just to serve all those around me and let them feel they are loved and cared. Everyone of us experiences problems and trials. It's good to see that God placed us all here together to help each other and let everyone feels that they are not alone. I continuously seek to let everyone feel that we can be forgiven if we only rely to Jesus Christ's atonement and live fully to receive its redeeming power. I love to read about the Gospel and about the Atonement. It inspired me before and still works until now.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Romulo Natural
The starting point for gaining faith is the belief that God loves us and that He cares for us. Having that conviction, we will then try to please Him and follow His commandments. As we continue to do this, we will see our weaknesses and will try to ask for His help. Then our faith continues to be strong. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Romulo Natural
It is not only us who give a deep emphasis on the importance of the family but also almost all the religious sects today however I believe we give a greater importance of it because of our belief that the family can be together forever. There is a great possibility of that as every family member strives to follow the commandments of the Lord. The Lord wants us to be happy and He knows that being with our family in the heaven will give us ultimate happiness. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Romulo Natural
We believe that the Bible is also a scripture and contains the words of God. Without the Bible, I will never be able to understand all that I know now, and besides the Bible was the Lords way of preparing me and my family to accept the Gospel and the another testament of Jesus Christ which is the Book of Mormon.
