Hi I'm Kristin

I laugh, I smile, I love to read, create, and help others...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love art, history, movies, crafts...anthing that can make me think or smile. I love to read, I can be absorbed in a book for hours, it's where I can find an escape from the hectic world. The scriptures are an important part of that. Right now, I just returned from a mission in Houston, Texas, and I'm excited for the next chapters of my life. I love this life, my church, and especially my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in Utah, I was baptized into the church when I was eight, but I was never active. When I was a senior in high school I started to go to church, camps, activities-and I gained a testimony of this church. It wasn't my parents choice, my friends, or leaders. It was because I could feel my Heavenly Fathers love for me, and I've never been happier. I know it is true. I love this gospel, it gives me strength every day to be happy, and to love my family and friends the way that they deserve. Knowing my divine potential helps me to help others, and to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. The Lord asks us to love our neighbor, and I love finding new ways to help others. I don't judge, I don't pity...I simply do what I can to help them because I know that when I do, I am able to love them. I love my life-I know that it's a gift from our Father in Heaven to be here, so I try to enjoy every moment I can! I love to help others smile, especially if they've had a rough day; the best feeling is when I can help someone crack a smile, or laugh. Right now, I'm dealing with the struggles of life-work, school, dating...all of these things are opportunities to rely on our Savior-to know what GOD want's me to do. It's not easy, but through this gospel, I know that whatever comes my way, it will be for my good.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Kristin
I have been so blessed to have the Holy Ghost in my life. Mostly, it has served as a comforter to me. I have had many struggles, but at my lowest, I knew I wasn't alone. I knew my Heavenly Father loved me, and that the Spirit was there. I can sit in church, and have something testified to me. I know from the spirit of peace that I feel-and more often than not tears as well. I know the spirit is a devine member of the Godhead. Show more Show less
