Hi I'm Lindsay Pugmire

I love my family, smiling, and playing board games. I'm a missionary and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a full time missionary serving in the Florida Orlando mission! Before my mission I was attending school at Brigham Young University. I was studying Elementary Education with a minor in TESOL. I have 13 brothers and sisters. I am the youngest biological child. My younger siblings were adopted from various places around the world. Family is the most important thing to me. We all love to get together and spend time with one another playing intense games of Apples to Apples and Scattergories. I love to watch movies and go to theme parks. I have always wanted to compete in a pie eating contest and see the Eiffel Tower.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family, but that is not the reason I continue to follow His gospel. In high school my parents divorced and I was devastated. I felt a sadness that I had never dreamed I could experience. To me it seemed like my world had shattered and I needed my Savior to heal the wounds in my heart. That is exactly what He did. I put trust in His church and in His Atonement and it changed my life. I received peace in my heart and a sure knowledge from the Spirit that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the true church on the earth. The Gospel continues to bless my life on a daily basis and I receive such joy by abiding by its precepts. Both my Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ, love me and know me personally. They are real and they live.

How I live my faith

As a missionary for the church I am able to live my faith every day! I serve full time taking the gospel to those who are looking for the happiness and blessings it brings. All day I have the opportunity to serve as I share my testimony of the restored gospel and the reality of God's love. Through service to others and to the Lord I have gained a greater relationship with my Savior and my Heavenly Father as well as an understanding of His plan for me.
