Hi I'm Jeremy

I am 18 years old and I am going on a mission to Trujillo, Peru.

About Me

My name is Jeremy and I am the middle child of two other siblings. One older sister and one younger brother. I love sports. I am a 4 time state champion in tennis but I also love playing basketball, football, soccer, and volleyball. I have been a member of the church my entire life and I credit that to my two amazing parents. I am an eagle scout and love providing service to anyone in need. My friends have had a huge impact on my life, they mean the world to me. Im a very outgoing person and love meeting new people and making new friends.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons why I am a mormon. It all starts with my family, mainly my parents. Growing up, going to church was just something that I did on sunday. I did not ask questions I just did it. Then, as I got older and moved away to college I realized that I go to church because I want to and that I know it is the one true church on the face of this planet. The church means everything to me and I do not know where I would be in my life without it. Everything that I have learned in life from this church has helped me grow as a person. This is one of the reasons I chose to serve a mission. There are so many people out in the world that have no knowledge of the restored gospel. I want to give them this knowledge. Teach them everything that our church has to offer. So they will know with out a doubt in their heart that the message they are receiving does not come from me. It comes from our Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. Something that has been big for me being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is service. This amazing church has so many service oriented philosophies that help yourself and others. I find it best to completely involve myself in service. The more people that I am able to help the better our world will be. Because of this I have grown into becoming a leader. Obtaining my Eagle Scout award was a big part in this but it was also followed up by multiple leadership callings in my ward where I was able to lead the youth in everything that we did with the help of advisors. Anywhere you go in this church you will find something that has to do with service. It truly is an amazing thing.
