Hi I'm Leah Burnett

I love to smile. I believe laughter is the best medicine. I treat song as if it was prayer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I LOVE LIFE. I love being loud! I love singing! I love wearing my jeans! I love chaos on walls! I love laughing with my family! (we are professionals) I love old stuff, from old people and old things to old music! I love color and decorating things! I love sneaking over to grandmas and grandpas house just to talk and cook together! I love telling stories, vacuming, rollercoasters, and journal writing...... Basically, I LOVE a lot of things. But most of all, I love this Gospel! I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am only 19 years old. My life was affected dramatically when I heard the change in the missionary service age in General Conference. Because I love the Lord, and I knew it was right for me I decided to serve a mission. By doing so I put off schooling, said goodbye to performing in musicals, and kissed my sweet family goodbye for a year and a half. People tell me that this time will fly by fast and to cherish every moment and that is what I am trying to do. "I always knew this was right for me, I just needed to courage to live up to it." "I WANT TO LEAVE NO SONG UNSUNG!" I plan to take life by the arm full and embrace every moment of it. And right now the best way I can do that is by waking up every morning and dedicating the whole day to telling people the reason why I smile so much!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I KNOW THAT ITS TRUE. There is no doubt. There is no confusion. The truth of this gospel brings peace to my soul, and peace brings happiness. I am a Mormon because this Church gives me the proper steps to return to my Father in Heaven and informs me of a plan where I can live with my family forever. I have prayed to know of its truth, and the testimony of its purity and truth that I have received I can not deny.

How I live my faith

I spend my days as a missionary telling people of this Gospel or "Good news". It is my main goal to inform those around me that the same gospel that Christ set up on this earth has been restored after being lost for many years! That the way to become like our Savior Jesus Christ is Back! That the path to Salvation is once again in clear view and if we walk in the path of the Savior, he being our ultimate example, will show us the steps we must take to return to our Father in Heaven! I try and express my faith in everything I do. THIS IS GOOD NEWS AND IS A GOSPEL OF HAPPINESS! So I do my very best to express my happiness at all times, to always "be an example of the believers" and live in a way that others will recognize me as such.
