Hi I'm Caleb

I grew up and spent most of my life in a small town called Independence, Kansas. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second sibling of eight. Currently I am going to college, and I am about to serve an LDS mission. I was born and raised in the gospel. I live it and I love it. There are not many LDS members in my city and I was the only one in my grade. It was hard sometimes to be the only one in my grade that was a member of the Church, but I now realize that it has made my testimony of the gospel stronger. Throughout high school I maintained a busy schedule with activities in student government, sports and academic clubs.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is the true church of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Although I was born into the church I have found out this church to be true by my own study of the Book of Mormon and through prayer. I have seen the miracles in this church that the Lord has blessed us with. I have also seen the happiness that the gospel brings to the lives of all those who faithfully live its teachings. I have seen and been raised my parents good examples. I want to raise my own family up in the same manner. I love all of the things that the gospel has brought into my life. I want others to have the same experiences that I have had.

How I live my faith

Growing up in an area without a large number of LDS members was rough to start out with. But after I had matured a little in high school, I realized that this could be a great opportunity to strengthen my faith and help prepare myself to be a better missionary. I am currently a Young Single Adult representative for my ward. I help other members meet new people so they can feel more welcomed in our activities.
