Hi I'm Eric

I grew up in Provo, Utah. I'm an accounting major and I'm a member of the Brigham Young University drumline. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been playing the drums since 5th grade. Drumming is my passion and I was on my high school drumline as well as now being a member of the Brigham Young University drumline. I've always enjoyed school and reading is also a passion of mine. I am currently an accounting major at BYU. I enjoyed growing up near the mountains in Provo and going on camp-outs, playing airsoft with my friends, fishing at the river and lake, and going on bike rides. I love the outdoors and although I'm not very good at sports I enjoy playing them with friends. I served a full two-year mission in the country of El Salvador. I grew to love the people there in a way I never thought possible. The mission completely changed for the better. It also introduced me to pupusas and that's definitely a life-changer!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my entire life. I have questioned aspects of the Gospel at times however through careful scripture study and prayer I have been able to strengthen my testimony and know that this Gospel is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and followed Moroni's promise and have received a knowledge for myself that the book is true. I have tried my faith and I have found out for myself that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ do live, and this is Their Gospel here on Earth.

How I live my faith

I currently teach the 3-4 year old's in Church. I love teaching these bright and smiling little boys and girls. They are so full of energy and their desire to learn and grow is contagious. I also am a home teacher and I love visiting with the families my companion and I are assigned to.
