Hi I'm Scott Obray

I love being outdoors and having fun with my friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am currently serving in the Arizona Tucson Mission, English speaking. Everyday I go out and find people to teach the restored gospel to. I love being in the outdoors. Before I came on my mission I loved to ski. I have been skiing since I was eight years old. When it gets warm outside I like to play basketball and go mountain biking. I atteneded a year of college before I left on my mission and I plan on attending college when I come back. I want to go into the computer science field. I have always been interested in computers and how they work. I hope to get a good job that I like and then be able to raise and support a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon born and raised. I was born into an LDS family who is strong in our faith. I was raised with all the teachings and values of Mormons. My parents taught me the importance of religion and I developed my own love for Chirst. I know that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I know that through him, all of us can be saved. It is because of Christ's love and mercy that we are able to live with out family's forever after we die. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have read it and prayed to know of its truthfulness. I know that the Book of Mormon provides the way back to our Heavenly; Father. I know that if we remain faithful in keeping God's commandments in this life, we will be blessed with the privilege of living in Gods presence with our families for time and all eternity.

How I live my faith

Right now I live my faith 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As a missionary, all of my time is devoted to the Lord. I am serving in the Tucson Arizona mission. Everyday I go out and find people to teach. Wheter I am talking to people outside, visting recent converts, or knocking on doors, I am always looking for people. I want to invite everyone to Christ and share with them the joy I have found within the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
