Hi I'm Nephy Nunez

I was born in Honduras, grew up as a Mormon, found my true conversion when i was a teenager.

About Me

I come from a loving family that gave me all the opportunities to improve myself and through their example, I accomplished many things such as a college degree, marriage to an amazing woman, and 3 wonderful children. I've always loved sports, especially those that most people don't even know exists, like "trials" in Motorsports. I've always loved and enjoyed serving others since I was a child in wonderful programs like the Boy Scouts, callings within the church and helping people in the community. Serving others has been the most rewarding part of my life, because those are the core principles of being a true Christian and a Mormon. There is joy, happiness, peace in this wonderful life as taught by the Mormon faith.

Why I am a Mormon

As I quoted in the beginning the book of Mormon, 1 Nephi: 1; even though I was born from parents that were Mormon already, I can honestly say that reading the book became the turning point in my true conversion. This happened when I personally started asking those questions that inevitably all of us ask, who am I? where do I come from? where do I go from here? and in reading the book found those answers. So I invite you to try it for yourself and experience the love of our Father in Heaven, or God.

How I live my faith

Through scripture reading, praying and improving yourself come many blessing from our Father in heaven. Serving others is a true joy and where all those teaching can finally be concreted in action actively doing home teaching or visiting your friends or neighbors not only socially but bringing hope for a better future and sharing the load of every day life, together. . Being the pastor of a congregation, or Bishop not only organize spiritual duties but also various activities for children, youth, young single adults, married couples and the elderly as well. One of my favorite activities among many good ones, during spring and summer times we as congregation go to a nearby lake or park and just enjoy the company of each other with family members, friends, neighbors etc, where all we can focus on nature, and simply let go off every day activities that often times become a burden.
