Hi I'm Linda

I love energy work and genealogy. I have 16 grandchildren, one is from Ethiopia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with deep roots in the Mormon church. My ancestors crossed the plains as pioneers, to find religious freedom. I honor them for what they did. For the past 37 years, I have been married to a wonderful man. Life hasn't been easy raising 6 children, but I feel good about who they have become. I owned a Resort Management business for 12 years and had to work 18 hours a day. Today I am blessed with 16 grandchildren that all live near me and I play with them each day. I love to paint. I am involved with energy work and how it flows in our bodies. I have become involved with genealogy research and I am excited to find my roots. I live in a warm climate and enjoy the sunshine everyday. I had the opportunity to go to Ethiopia to visit the beautiful people there. One of my granddaughters was adopted there and is a joy to our family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was a very fortunate person be be born with parents and ancestors who recognized this church was beautiful. Now for myself, I have felt this truth. I have learned that our Heavenly Father has a plan for us. As we have faith in Him and surrender our lives to Him, we will be guided and blessed. Forgiveness, faith, hope, and the love of all mankind are keys to true joy and happiness. As I live this way...light fills my life, mind, and body and the darkness of life melts away. I place the burdens of fear, disappointment, sickness, and sadness on the Savior. Being a Mormon is the way to true peace and happiness. I have a testimony that Heavenly Father and Jesus appeared to Joseph Smith in a vision. I know that the truth was brought back to the earth with all of the blessings of the Priesthood, Gift of the Holy Ghost, Sealing Power and Families to be connected forever. All of these keys to the fullness of Truth have been restored and it is a glorious time to be alive. I want to follow this way and feel the peace and safety that it gives in a time of trouble in the world. Each morning I thank God for a wonderful life and the blessing of being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I do not know how life would be without the surety of knowing that our Heavenly Father is real and loves me. I feel constant peace and safety knowing that Jesus Christ is involved with our lives and died for me. I am a partner with another woman in my ward to visit women and give them strength and help when life becomes hard for them. We talk about what the family needs and what each of us can do to strengthen our children and grandchildren. At times when my own family has struggles and trials, I can feel angels near to guide and protect us. When I am trying to uncover information about my ancestors, I can actually feel them close by to guide me in the right direction. I often meet with the teenagers in our area to teach them about the virtues of living so the spirit of the Lord can be near. I also live with a prayer in my heart each moment of each day to receive guidance as to the direction my life must go.
