Hi I'm Hannah Taylor

I am a BYU Sophomore from Oregon! Beginning September of 2017, I will be a full time missionary in the California Ventura Mission!

About Me

I am a Brigham Young University Sophomore studying Family History and Genealogy. I will be continuing my education at BYU after my service as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California Ventura Mission. I report to the Provo MTC in September of 2017. While at BYU, I worked for a short time in the MTC as a custodial supervisor. I served as Relief Society President in my Freshman BYU ward and absolutely loved it! I look forward to my missionary service and my return to BYU in 2019.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I grew up going to church every week and living His gospel every day. My testimony has grown gradually and it grows stronger all the time, especially as I do my best to live the Gospel and share it with others. I have seen what the Gospel can do to a person and I try to be a great example of the good that can and does come from Jesus Christ. I cannot imagine how my life would be without Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love Them and I love this gospel.

How I live my faith

I try to have charity in my heart and my actions at all times. I love to serve people, meet people, and love people. As I continue learning about the Gospel, I find more of a desire to become like Jesus Christ. At church, I try my best to help out by teaching classes, being attentive, and helping others to feel the Spirit. While not at church, I do my best to serve those around me and to show Christ's love to all I come in contact with!

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Hannah Taylor
To become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you should have a testimony of His Gospel. Prior to becoming a member you can take missionary lessons from elders and sisters serving as full time missionaries. During these lessons you will be taught about His restored gospel and the church in general. You will feel the influence of the Holy Ghost testifying to you that what you are hearing is true. Once you have even the smallest inkling of a developing testimony, you can ask the missionaries to be baptized. You can still attend church without being baptized: visitors are welcome!
