Hi I'm Kaylie Wininger

I live in California. I attend BYU-Idaho. I am preparing to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently enrolled at BYU-Idaho. I have completed my first year there. My major is Marriage and Family Development emphasis Home and Family management. I want to be a family counselor. My motto is, people come to me for their problems anyways, might as well get paid for it! I have been called to serve in the Omaha, Nebraska Mission. I report September 16. I cannot wait to serve those who need to hear the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all my life. My mother grew up in the church and my dad is a convert. Although my mother was raised in the church, she was less active for a period of time. She then got her act together and made the goal to come back to church. As she did so, she dragged my dad along( he wasn't a member at the time) long story short, my dad was converted and all my siblings went to church. I have never doubted The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I just knew it was true. I am so fortunate to have been raised in the church. My life would be completely different if I weren't a member. This church brings peace and comfort into my life. I love my Savoir. I love this church.

How I live my faith

Attending a LDS college has shaped me into the person I want to become. Not only has it made me more responsible and mature, I have become better at managing time and also turning to The Lord for help. I have relied on my Savoir so much in the past year, while I've been trying to figure out what to do with my life. Having piers around me with the same faith has made it easier to practice it.
