Hi I'm Rachel

I grew up on a farm in Manti, UT. I'm a pianist, and I love teaching children music. I'm a mormon

About Me

I love boating and waterskiing. I love playing piano and guitar and listening to country music. I am studying piano performance at Brigham Young University. I have seven other siblings and so I grew up mostly with my family. We are really close. I love my little brothers. I always think about them and do things for them. I want to become a dental hygienist. I went to the Dominican Republic and helped people there take care of their teeth. I love helping people and making a difference for good in their lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of this church because I have learned for myself that the gospel it teaches is true. My life is so blessed from being a member of this church and living how Christ wants me to live. Believing in Him, and relying on him gives me so much strength to overcome challenges in my life.

How I live my faith

Since I have a love for music, I've been able to contribute to my church by playing the organ and piano or conducting the hymns. I love getting to know the people in my ward better through activities and visiting teaching. I love working with the children. I organized a children's choir with one of my best friends, and wrote arrangements of primary medlies for them to sing. I love feeling the Spirit that the gospel brings to my life. It gives me direction in my life and motivates me to do good things in my life. I served a mission in Rome, Italy where I was able to share my beliefs and help others strengthen their faith and come closer to Christ. Sharing the gospel brings me so much joy.
