Hi I'm Taylor Densley

I grew up in American Fork Utah. I love to work hard and play hard. And I'm proud to be LDS.

About Me

My favorite times growing up was when I was with my Friends and my Family. I love just having a good time with each other, and building each other up. I love snowboarding, skiing, riding mountain bike's, riding and training horses, and hard work. I play piano, the drums, and a little guitar. (ya there's to many things in my life) I have attended Utah State University for my animal and Dairy Science Degree. I would like to be a large animal vet... eventually. For work I've done mechanics, horse training, riding lessons, and landscaping. I love to work with my hands, and I love to try knew things. Right now Im currently on a Mission in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission and I love every minute of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the impact and the changes that occur in my life as I fallow in faith. I was born in the church and from an early age, saw what a difference it made to be in this gospel. Me and my friends weren't always the quiet type but when it came to helping each other stay on the straight and narrow, we all needed each other. It makes me happier every time I am involved with this church, from young men's to serving a mission. I have been in the dark at times and needed to cling to this gospel to find my way back. This is the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, and I know this because of my experiences with the atonement and listening to the guidance of the spirit. The blessings that I have received will never be forgotten by me, and can never be replaced. Pray and you shall receive.

How I live my faith

I've always done my home teaching. In fact I have grown in my testimony so much about serving those around us and building each other up even as Christ would. I've served in presidencies for my youth groups. I was even the piano player for priesthood meetings, and I love to help out with scouting when ever I am asked. I have worked on many eagle scout projects including my own. I love this Gospel and look for ways to be involved with as much as I can because I feel it is important to learn as much as we can from each other and from the spirit the Gospel brings into our lives.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Taylor Densley
A testimony is basically what you know to be true because of the Holy Ghost. Our testimony's aren't built in a day, but they are really built on faith, bit by bit. As things happen in your life and you begin to see the lords had in your life, you begin to build your testimony. The more you share it the more powerful it becomes to you and others that you share it with. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Taylor Densley
No one is forced to go on a mission. It is a personal choice between you and the lord weather or not you do. The young men of the church have been taught that its what the lord wants for us to serve him. Its been asked that every young man serve a mission, but again this is a choice between you and the lord and there is no consequences for not going, although there are many blessings to come from serving Jesus Christ.
