Hi I'm Ron

I have lived in some interesting places like Cape Town South Africa, Dar-es-Salaam Tanzania, and soon Moscow Russia.

About Me

Our family is the greatest. We love being with our 16 grandchildren and watching them grow. We also love serving in the Church. This service has given us wonderful opportunities throughout our lives. Recently we completed a 2 year mission where we lived in Tanzania helping the Church and its members grow. We are now headed on an 18 month mission to the Europe East Area where we will be the auditor. There are always fun and personal growth opportunities in the Church.

Why I am a Mormon

Some would suppose that because my parents are members of the Church that I am therefore a member of the Church because that seems normal. However, I have made the decision to be a member of the Church and to be actively involved. The reason I made this decision is because I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about its truthfulness. The answer to my prayer lead me to be a fully active member of the Church.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is usually quite easy. We just live our lives to be happy and approved of the Lord. Being involved in family is very helpful in living my faith.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Ron
The Holy Bible testifies of the divinity of Jesus Christ and has influenced and sustained millions of His followers. It is a collection of sacred writings containing God’s revelations and accounts of His dealings with His children in the Holy Land. The historical accounts in the Bible cover many centuries, from the time of Adam through the death of the Apostles. Likewise most of the books of the Bible were written by and about prophets who lived at various times in the history of the world. As you probably know, the Bible is divided into the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament contains sacred texts written prior to the birth of Christ. Many prophets in the Old Testament fortold the coming of a Savior and Redeemer (See Isaiah 7:14, 9:6, 53:3-7). The New Testament tells of the life of that Savior and Redeemer, who is Jesus Christ. It also tells of the establishment of His original Church. Show more Show less
