Hi I'm Paige

I love being out doors and spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a typical college student. I love almost any activity that is outside, such as hiking, skiing, boating, playing lacrosse, and other such things. I also enjoy spending time in the lab working on science projects. I am majoring in Genetics and Biotechnology. One of my roommates’ pass times is teasing me about how nerdy I am. I just laugh along with them because I realize how right they are. My family is the most important thing in my life. I love spending time with all of my siblings, parents, and extended family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the church bring happiness and meaning to my life. Through this gospel families can be together forever which is extremely important to me. Over the years as grandparents have passed on it this knowledge has been a huge comfort to me. Even though I was born in the church I had to find out for myself that the church is true. When I was around ten years old one of my teachers at church challenged the class to pray to Heavenly Father and ask Him if the church was true. I decided that I might as well try it when I said my nightly prayers. When I did I was overwhelmed with a feeling of truth and I knew that I then had the start of my own testimony separate from my parents which I had previously been relying on. From this time my testimony has slowly grown and continues to grow each day.

How I live my faith

In my ward I help to organize the Sunday School classes. I make sure that the teachers are all there and I keep track of the attendance. I also visit several women in the ward each month. I check on them and make sure that they are not overwhelmed by the stress of school. This has helped me to build relationships with others in my church.
