Hi I'm Nathan Robison

I grew up in Las Vegas. I love all sports, reading, games, and playing piano. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a College Freshman student living it up at BYU Provo and I have a thirst, for adventure. I spent the summer working at a High Adventure camp, rock climbing, zip lining, shooting, and river rafting the summer away. This turned me into a bit of an adrenaline junky. Any time I can go out cliff jumping, wakeboarding, or snowboarding I take it. Putting that aside, I can also at the same time get lost in books, I love to read. Moving to college was a bit of a hard transistion, but i've found I love college about 10 times more than High school. Its not that I don't miss and love my family, but I feel like I am actually doing something with my life. I have declared Mechanical Engineering as my Major and am loving learning all about that. I can't say Im dissapointed with anything in my life. Sure there are struggles, but I am throughly enjoying everything I do!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because I was born into it, but because I have personally seen the blessings that come from it. My family is a close loving unit. If i ever need anything they are there. I was raised in this church so it is natural that I am an active participant in it now. Although I grew up in this church, I didn't fully believe in it untill I was 12. I read the Book of Mormon through, and prayed to God asking if it was true. He answered me, not with a visatation or speaking to me, but with the spirit. I felt a warm comforting feeling that testified to me that that book is true. I then determined that if that book was true then the rest of the church was too, for the Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion. I have had many similar experiences since then. Many people say that it is not logical, they ask, how can you profess to know your church is true, in these moments I testify, and say, If you had felt what I have, then you would know too.I have read the book of Mormon, Prayed about it and found that it is true. If you have not I challenge you to do the same. It will bless your life, and change it forever more.

How I live my faith

I live my faith religiously. It is a large part of who I am. I actively participate in my church activities, and am always ready to help out. I don't check my religion at the church door from week to week. It stays with me always. I am the same Person at church that I am outside of it. My church calling is to lead Family Home Evening meetings. Up at college we obviously do not have our families with us so we create family groups to hangout and have a fun time with once a week. We vary from bowling to watching a movie, and having a spiritual thought. It is a way fun calling because I am always thinking of new great things to do.
