Hi I'm Lisa

I am a wife, mother to 6, surrogate mother to 2, aspiring doula and midwife, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the church of 9 years. I have 6 children and have homeschooled for 7 years. I am currently in the process of becoming a surrogate mother to 2. When I'm not growing babies I love to run and have competed in a number of events from 5ks to a half-marathon. My long-term goal is to become a homebirth midwife. I love being home with my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is God's word, and that this is His church. He personally gave me that witness through the Holy Ghost. I love this gospel and how it has changed my life for the better. Doors continue to open and He guides my path. The women in the church inspire me to become a better wife and mother. I love the focus on family. I am so grateful to have a knowledge of the true restored gospel.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the church in a variety of facets. I have taught classes to the women on health, nutrition, and cooking. I teach the children and am currently working with the 18mo.-3 yr. olds. I visit women in the church on a monthly basis and share spiritual messages with them. I am working on becoming a volunteer doula (labor support) in the community. I cherish the scriptures and the temple. We love to take our children to the temple in the summer and have picnic dinners on the grass.
