Hi I'm Addison Davis

I'm from Southern California. I'm a missionary in New York. I love sunshine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old, living in Rochester, New York as a missionary! I attend Brigham Young University and am studying marketing, and was able to spend a summer in Europe studying international business. I love to dance, play sports, and read. I wish everyday could be summer. I love being outside. I really love to laugh. . . A lot. I have the greatest family; I'd do just about anything to spend time with my fabulous sister, two hilarious brothers and my phenomenol parents. Nothing makes me happier than my family spending time together, sitting by the pool, and enjoying the sunshine!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this faith brings me more joy than anything else in the world. I know I have been blessed my entire life because I am part of this religion and when I participate in church activities and responsibilities, I can truly feel God's love for me and his other children. Following the gospel and standards this church sets are not always easy, but I know that dedication and hard work right now, will bless me in the long-term. It is not always easy to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but I can attest that with the Mormon faith, the light always comes. I know this is the true church with all of my heart. I know that Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ love us and they want us to be happy and to return to live with them some day. If we follow Their counsel, we will be blessed in more ways than we could ever imagine. I know that we have a living prophet on the Earth today and that he receives revelation from God to lead us. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and we can learn so much from its words. I know that Jesus Christ lives and am eternally grateful for his sacrifice and grace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to others. In everything I do, I strive to be a witness of Christ. From the way I dress and speak, to always being honest in my actions, I try to live in a way that our Heavenly Father would be proud of me. I love to serve and help others whenever I can. I have seen the blessings in my life from kind actions and acts of service, so I like to help others as well. Not only does service help a person in need, but it also brings me closer to the Savior and let's me feel God's love.
