Hi I'm Jacob

I grew up in Texas. Really got involved in theater. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've got two brothers and together we just feed off of each other and doing some pretty crazy and fun stuff. We have a lot of humor traded between us. I love the creativity of the arts and that really grew from my years spent working with my school's theater department. That grew into a real passion for movies and games as well as I saw what we could do with technology and our imagination. I am a sophomore in college and hope to go into a career that really applies that idea of creative imagination.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always felt that I responded to spiritual situations differently or had trouble really being as moved as others in spiritually powerful times but I have had multiple occasions in my life where my service given was more than a simple act of kindness and my heart has been moved in love or appreciation. I know that while it's not always for me quite what it is for everyone else that my Father in Heaven loves me and appreciates me and more than anything else has grand plans for me that I only need to be willing to work for and open myself up to. I've been touched by the knowledge that my Savior loves me unconditionally just like every other person on the planet and that it's my duty to share and project that same light to others I meet in my life. More than anything, this knowledge of who I am keeps me active and steady in my beliefs.

How I live my faith

Really one of the biggest ways for me to be able to interact with my ward was through the scouting program. It took a lot of time, hard work and perseverance but by remaining diligent and having great scout leaders I was able to become an Eagle Scout and that really built my relationship up with the youth. I've been that class clown at school that can turn around and seriously help conduct meetings as quorum presidents and advisors. As I helped other youth with their scouting projects or aided families who were moving in or out of the ward I have had the pleasure to get to know tons of people inside and outside of the church with all sorts of experiences that really bring to light the varying aspects of life.
