Hi I'm Roberta L. Brock (Luci)

I live in Idaho, am a widow with three daughters and one son and ten grandchildren and I am happy to be a Mormon!

About Me

I am retired and enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren. Also enjoy serving in the Church and helping others as I may be able. I enjoy reading good books and especially those that have good christian values. For exercise I enjoy walking about three times per week and also in the summer enjoy golf and some tennis. I like to be meaningfully busy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) of over fifty years now. I first heard the message of the Church as a child of about 12 in Montana and its message has always rang true to me. I feel that in my life I may have made many mistakes, but joining the Church was never one of them. I believe that while there are many churches in the world today..........probably all doing much good in many ways, but that in spite of that the Lord does not have or need many churches........it is not "just any church".....it is, in fact, His Church which has all the doctrine and ordinances necessary for us to return to His presence and that is why we have the many missionaries that we do..........to make the fullness of His teachings available to all who will allow themselves to listen. I know that God, our Heavenly Father lives as does His Son our Savior, Jesus Christ...........and that He did in fact come to earth and taught His gospel as it is recorded in the Bible and in The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ and that He did suffer in Gethsemane and then did die on the cross for each of us individually......that if we accept His sacrifice for us, we may have eternal life with Him and with our families. I would strongly encourage all to avail themselves of the opportunity to hear this wonderful message of the restored gospel and know for yourselves the truthfuolness of its message. God bless you!

How I live my faith

I have served in the various organizations of the church as an officer and teacher and also in our local temple, all of which are a learning and growing experience in the association of many wonderful people. My husband and I have also served together on a mission.
