Hi I'm Madeline

I have a wonderful family and am serving as a missionary in BA Argentina! I'm one happy girl, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

It's a girl's world where I'm from! Four younger sisters who are all bound to be, or already are, 6 feet tall- me a mere 5-8. Jipped. We're a basketball family. I love my sisters, they are my best friends. I love family time, costco runs, mexican food, ping pong, and singing loud. Music makes everything better. Cleaning, driving, running- the works. I'm blessed to be part of a family who I really look up to and want to be like. They are top-notch people. BYU is my home away from home. I will always love that place no matter how cold it gets. I'll soon be leaving on a mission to Argentina where I'm told I'll be converted to soccer. Guess we'll see.... I can't wait!

Why I am a Mormon

There are moments where I cannot deny the feelings and promptings I have felt from the spirit. Some things you know to be true. That's why I'm a Mormon. I know I'm a child of God and that I'm loved by my Heavenly Father. This is so clear to me. I see His hand in my life. He has answered my prayers. I know the Book of Mormon is truth, enlightening, and it testifies of Christ. Most importantly, I know that it is through Christ and His atoning sacrifice that I can repent and become my best self. I don't know how to define joy to the masses, but to me I have never felt more joy than when I am living The Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is hopeful, it is joy, it is truth!

How I live my faith

Being Mormon is more than attending church once a week. I try to live my faith by being the person God wants me to be everyday. Serving by planning activities and preparing gospel lessons for the youth and young adults in my church has strengthened my testimony of Christ and has taught me a little more about charity. I have also been blessed to serve as a full time missionary for eighteen months. It is an exciting time! I try to live my faith by being active and being grateful, but most of all being happy. A positive attitude changes everything!
