Hi I'm Taylor Robinson

I grew up in Utah. I am currently serving a mission in Brazil. I am proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I am an eagle scout. I enjoy playing soccer and i believe it to be a great stress releaser. I haven't gone to college yet but have taken CE classes in high school. My family is really important to me and I am very thankful for this gospel. I am the oldest in my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life. When I was around 16, I kind of thought I didn't want to go to church that much. But I started to pray more fervantly and I started to participate in discussion and reading my Book of Mormon. Through the Spirit, I have been blessed to know that this church is true and that it is run by God through prophets who are on the Earth today. I know that through prayer and faith, Heavenly Father will bless us with tender mercies, give us oppurtunities to feel the Holy Ghost and gain our own testimonies. I have felt the love of Jesus and know that he died for me, for my sins, so that I can live with Him and Heavenly Father agian. We are here to find happiness and through the restored gospel I have found it.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission and am loving every minute of it. Before I was serving a mission for the church, I was blessed to teach 10 and 11 year olds about the gospel. It was a fun teaching experience. Whenever my ward was having a service acitivity going on, I tried to attend because of the spirit that is there. Home teaching was always fun. It was good to get to know the family and to think of ways to help them or to take them some goodies for birthdays, holidays or sometimes just to do it.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Taylor Robinson
The reason for the baptism when someone enters into the church is for the specific purpose to follow Jesus Christ. When someone is baptized with the power and authority of God that can only be found through the one and true way, this baptism takes us closer to God and His son Jesus Christ. And when we do this, we feel the influence in our life more and also we can feel the true feeling of being cleansed spiritually and its like the feeling of a real rebirth. Show more Show less
