Hi I'm natalie

I am from Nashville Tennessee, love music, and go to school In Idaho. I'm a mormon.

About Me

My name is Natalie and I love life! Everything is so exciting to me, I love things like road trips and listening to music. I am from Mount Juliet Tennessee and I go to school at BYU Idaho. It is always an adventure. I love my friends, they are the biggest part of my life. We always do fun stuff together from pizza eating contests to longboarding we always have fun. I love to jam on the guitar and sing really loudly to the radio. I have three sisters who are my best friends in the world. I work at Baskin Robbins making ice cream cakes, Yum! but most importantly, i love eating, especially moonpies!

Why I am a Mormon

I really only follow one rule in my life, and that is to stay true to what my heart knows is true. I follow the gospel and live it's standards because my heart tells me it's the right thing to do. I have faith that my heart knows the church is true because God has told me so. I remember when I was 12 and one of my friends stopped believing in God. I sat myself down that day and decided that If the church was true I would live it all the way for the rest of my life. If it was wrong, I was going to leave and never come back. So, I started studying the scriptures, particularly trying to learn about Jesus and his life and teachings. After the month I prayed and asked the Lord for an answer. The Lord must know me really well, because when I asked him for an answer he sent a feeling to my heart that said it was true. I cannot deny what I feel in my heart, especially a confirmation that strong. Since then, if it ever gets hard to live a Christian life all I have to do is remind myself of that feeling in my heart and my faith is rejuvinated.

How I live my faith

Right now at my church I teach the nine year olds. They are so sweet and very fun to teach, they get a little crazy sometimes, but it is so worth it! I also enjoy doing family history work, looking up and documenting information about my own ancestors and others. I feel so close to my family when I learn more about my family members who have already passed away. I am also preparing to serve a full time mission, so thats really exciting!
