Hi I'm Mitsue

I'm Hawaiian Caucasian. I am a BYU Idaho student. I have been called to the California Rosville mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the middle of three children. I have an older brother and a younger sister. I am a student at BYU Idaho. I am going on a mission in three weeks. I love to read and learn. I love school and learning new things. I am a CNA and have worked as an aid for two years. My mother taught us growing up to be very service oriented. Growing up we had a lot of different foreign exchange students come into our home. We were able to learn about their culture and we were also able to share our religion with them. Two of the five of our foreign exchange students actually joined the church. I had the pleasure of not only being friends with them but they also became my brother and sister in the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born and raised in this Church, I have become truly converted to His Gospel. My mother grew up without this religion and joined when she was 18 years old. My dad has always been a member. Growing up I went to Church, did the youth activities, and stayed active. The older I became the more I began to recognize certain things I did that my cousins from my mom's side didn't do or things they did that I didn't do. Sometimes I became upset or frustrated because I wanted to go to the beach with them instead of going to church on Sundays. The more I grew the more I realized I needed to stop deciding whether I was going to follow what my parents had taught me because they said to and start doing it solely for myself and because I loved my Heavenly Father. I have friends and family who are not part of my religion. I don't ostracize myself from them because they have different religious beliefs than I do, I just love what I believe so much that I want to stay with it. This church is my rock and my testimony of it has been my strength when talking to others who try to tear me down. I am not a member of this church just because I was raised in it; I am a member because I know it is the truth.

How I live my faith

I am a teacher to the 12 and 13 year old young men and young women. I am able to teach them in depth different beliefs of our religion. Also I was just called to serve a full time mission in the California Roseville Mission. I leave February 6 of this year. I am so excited!!!!!!!1
