Hi I'm Debie

I'm a wife, mother of 4, mother-in-law of 2, have 2 beautiful grand daughters, am a Registered Nurse, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family is my greatest love and assest. The love I feel for them is unmeasureable. My joy comes from being together making memories to last. When someone is missing, there is a hole in my heart. We all enjoy outdoor activites, mostly boating & 4-wheeling. In the winter, we love to pull sleds around. I love the boating best, dad loves the 4-wheeling, the kids love them both. We also have a huge, loveable St. Bernard named Chuck that is one of our family. We are training him to pull the sleds with a harness. All together at present time, we make 11, with large extended families on both sides. We live in the country and farm, and are somewhat rough around the edges and I wouldn't ever change that. I love to laugh. I enjoy lots of picture taking and love to share them. These become our life journals and are priceless. I am also a Register Nurse, and have worked for 26 years specializing in Labor & Delivery & Newborn Intensive Care, so I get to witness miracles quite often. I am just a regular person that loves and believes in the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with all my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a loving Heavenly Father, an actual Father, who loves me and has designed the perfect plan to return and live with him and our families for all Eternity. There is not a greater plan anywhere out there. I have felt my Heavenly Father close many times in my life during trials. He is always there! We are never alone. There has never been a doubt in my mind that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I could never raise my family without it's teachings. Some people say that Church service is sacrificing. Not true. It has brought innumerable blessings to my life and those of my children. There is no comparing the peace and securtiy that I enjoy with the worldly struggles of those without the gospel. We have a living Prophet to guide and direct us. We have beautiful Temples to seal our families together. The teachings of the Church are simple and pure and are a protection from the outside world in our homes. I have been promised financial security with the principle of paying a 10 % tithe. I have countless examples of this to be true. I am not loaded, never expect to be, but I am always able to meet my financial responsibiites and life is good. It is the perfect way of life. We have all been sent down to Earth to learn valuable life lessons. And with everything that is worthwhile, challenges come too. They are to build character and strength from the opposition that we all face. We are given a few rules to keep us healthy and safe. We are given amazing promises if we remain true. I want and need Eternal Joy with my family, and this is worth any effort used as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I would invite all those willing to learn and hear to study and compare our ways to others, who is happy and why. There is no better way:)

How I live my faith

I have always been raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was baptised at 8 years of age. I was blessed with Parents who were also raised the in the Church. I have been greatly blessed my whole life because of this. I really try to live by and practice all of it's teachings. I recognize and believe in the Book of Mormon and read from it often. It is truely another testament of Jesus Christ and how His church was reestablish. It is a history record of the people on the American continent. I try diligently to learn more and share with my family it's teachings. Daily prayers are essential, family and individual. I was married and sealed for Time and all Eternity in one of our beautiful Temples. I have always had a Church calling and am currently a Relief Society and visiting teacher. I have a long way before perfection and error often, but we have repetance and can be forgiven. I attend my Church meetings regularly. I try to share what I know to be true to others, and how simple adjustments in their lives can bring comfort, securtiy and happiness.
