Hi I'm Zack

I live in Utah and am going to serve a misson, and I'm mormon

About Me

I love being outdoors and am an eagle scout, I was on my highschools football team as well as swim team, track, and tennis. I also play the guitar and ukelele. Since graduating from highschool, I took a semester in college and worked two jobs in order to fund my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

To be honest, I have always been Mormon, many see that as i just do what my parents have taught and told me to do, but actually, I choose to be Mormon. I know this is the true church, the things I have seen have no other explination for it. This church has done things that I havent seen any other I know of can, it has re-established many doctrines that have been lost and that have been bore witness to in the bible. I know that this church is true, and that this church is directed by a prophet of God and has been since Joeseph Smith. I know that The Book of Mormon is true, and bears another witness of Christ. I know that our Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of us, and that He is the one and true God, and i bear witness to this in the name of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I make it a priority to never work sundays, I always love attending church and was recently a teacher in an age 7 class, it was an amazing experience, even though most of the kids were a bit roudy, but still I know I taught them and helped there testimonies grow. The cool thing about it though was that I learned as much if not more by teaching them, it was amazing to feel the spirit and how it taught me as well as them. In our young mens organization I have held the office of president and vice president a few times, this enables us as young men to learn how to lead and plan, this has helped not only in school, but has helped to prepare me for life and has made me a better leader as well as a person. Many people think that being Mormon is all about rules, you cant drink, you cant smoke, ect... but really I choose to not do anything that can have a negitive effect on my body, as an athlete, I have seen what drugs and other substances have done to my friends. i know that if i did anything like that, that i would not only risk my athletic career, but I'd also be jeperdizing my life. Heavenly Father knows about these harmfull addictions and he has forwarned us about them, and I know that he is happy with my choices to remain true to the faith.
