Hi I'm Kathryn Malloy

I grew up in southern California. I'm the 7th of 10 kids. I love running and being active. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I took a break from school and life to serve a full time mission. Best decision I ever made!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and so for me I didn't have that one experience of "the Church is true." Instead I've had many of those experiences that have helped me to know that this truly is the true Church. Experiences like reading the Book of Mormon and praying to know if it's true, or going to the temple and feeling the spirit so strong there. To me conversion isn't just a one time thing. Conversion is an ongoing process. I love this gospel! I know that we have a Heavenly Father in heaven that knows and loves us more than we can even comprehend. Because he loves us that much He sent His son Jesus Christ to die for us and to atone for all our sins that we may one day return to live with Him again. I know that if we are worthy and strive to keep the commandments we will have His Holy Spirit with us to guide us and comfort us. I know that through His eternal plan we will be able to live with our families forever. This is a huge comfort for me! I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and that the true church is again restored to the earth. I know that we once again have prophets on the earth who receive revelation from God to help guide His church. Through personal experiences I've gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon and know without a doubt that it's true. I love this gospel so much!! I love how it not only blesses individuals, but it also blesses families. I know that Heavenly Father loves us and knows what we're going through and will always be there for us, and that the Holy Ghost will bring peace and comfort to us. I'm truly blessed to be a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures, saying my prayers, going to church meetings, attending the temple, and doing service for those around me. I also occasionally get to teach lessons on Sunday that help me share my testimony with others.
