Hi I'm Karolina Miller

I strive to live my life in service. I volunteer with handicapped children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student in college and will be serving a mission for the next year and a half. I was named after my great grandmother whom I admire very much for the legacy of faith that she left for her family to follow. I am a small town girl and have been my entire life. My family is my support system and most importantly they are my best friends. Tennis has been a big part of my life; I played in tennis throughout high school and am very dedicated to playing. I love playing the guitar. I love history, particularly the history of my ancestors and I enjoy reading their journals and life histories. I think that looking at the past helps us be better prepared for the future. I love working with handicapped children and grasp every opportunity I can to serve them. I hope to be a teacher and mother someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a Mormon because I have discovered, for myself, the great love and peace this gospel provides me. I have been impacted greatly by the temple and the promises of becoming an eternal family. I look at my family and loved ones around me and I cannot imagine life without them. I know that this gospel stems from Christ and His teachings because it revolves around families. I know that through this gospel I am able to be sealed to my family for eternity and that truth brings me comfort and joy. I have read the Book of Mormon and know with all my heart that it was written by men who are called of God to document their life and experiences. I also know that through revelation and divine power that Joseph Smith was given the responsibility to translate this amazing book. I am thankful for the opportunity to have The Book of Mormon and know of its validity. I know that this gospel is true. I have seen the miracles that have come through the restored priesthood. I know of the tremendous strength and forgiving power of the Atonement. I know that my Father in Heaven will always be here for me when I need Him most. I know that I was not sent to this earth alone. I know that through my mortal journey I have been blessed with the help of loved ones here on earth and those that have passed on. I know that there is life after this mortal existence. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and know and understand me personally. I am a Daughter of God and I have value and purpose.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by consistently striving to reach my full potential and pattern my life after my Elder Brother, Jesus Christ. It is a struggle everyday to become better and keep progressing but it is possible through the help of a loving Heavenly Father. I choose to live how Christ lived by serving others. I have volunteered as a cancer camp counselor and am currently volunteering in a special needs classroom. I find that when I am in the service of my fellow beings I find great happiness and joy. As I have served these amazing children I have learned so much! I have learned how important it is to have a positive outlook on life. Although the world around us may be scary and dark at times there is always positive if we choose to look for it. Another thing I have learned while serving others is how important each day truly is. Seeing the hope and happiness of these children that have so many challenges inspires me to always seek for the best that life has to give. I love serving others and feel that it is the best way that I can show my gratitude for all that my Father in Heaven has done for me.
