Hi I'm Sarah

I love to sing. I'm studying to be an Elementary School teacher. I love boy bands. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old, and I am currently attending college, working to get my degree in Elementary Education. I work part-time at a Real Estate Agency as a receptionist, and I love it. My favorite thing in this world is music. I love going to see musicals like Les Miserables and Wicked, and I dream of one day being a part of those productions. My passion is singing and performing. I hope to be a vocal instructor one day, so that I can show my students how great the feeling of performing truly is. When I'm not singing, I am usually dancing with my sister in our family room to One Direction songs, which are our weakness. I love my family. They honestly are my best friends and the funniest people I know. Pretty much, I just love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me so much hope. I grew up with this faith, but when I got a little older I realized that I needed to find out for myself if this was the right church for me. After having slacked off a bit by not attending my Institute classes, or reading my scriptures as often, I felt an emptiness inside that I could not get rid of. It took me a good while to realize that I really do need this Gospel in my life. Not just every Sunday, but I need to feel of my Heavenly Father's love every day. I need to know that I am going somewhere after this life and I won't just stop existing. There is great comfort in the things that this Gospel teaches, and I remind myself every day that I can't live my life without it. I love this Church. I know it's true. Without a doubt.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending Institute of Religion classes in between my college classes, or by helping out with the ward choir or bringing food to our Single Adult Activities. Those are the direct ways I live my faith, but I also live this gospel by being kind to those around me. I think the best way to live my faith is to be like our Savior, Jesus Christ, by constantly serving those around us. The Savior showed us the perfect way to treat others, so I live my faith by following in his footsteps and doing the same.
