Hi I'm Bradley

I'm from good ole' Rexburg where I love to do just about anything elevating, family is my greatest joy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the church and I have always loved having the Gospel in my home. That's not to say I've always appreciated it but I've come to learn that I wouldn't want it any other way. Before coming out, I was going to school at BYU-Idaho and I plan on going back. I majored in Communications and spent a lot of time in the Spori building, especially downstairs in the labs messing around on Garageband ;) High school really sparked my interest in public speaking and broadcasting so from there I've loved being involved in whatever communications has to offer. I graduated from high school not too far away and I couldn't have imagined a better life. I never get bored where I'm from and that's mostly because of the awesome group of friends I have. I love hiking, running, swimming, just about anything uplifting you can think of and I'd probably love it. I live in one of the most beautiful places on earth and you can just about do anything you want. Family has always been really important to me. I'm the last of six children in the fam and we're one of those funny but close knit families.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm not just a Mormon because I grew up in the church, you'll never hear me say that. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that it's true. It's as apparent and as physical to me as the grass is green. As the Prophet Joseph put it: "I knew it, and I knew that God knew it and I could not deny it". As I continue to serve as a missionary, I've really began to see how much people need the Gospel and if they could just get a small glimpse of the flood of blessings they could receive, they would want nothing more than for it to be true. You will want this Gospel to be true when you see others who have accepted and have received an inexpressible joy that can't be found any other way. I'm a Mormon because I know that only good has come from it. I'm a Mormon because I know there is no other way than by proper authorized ordinances that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon because my relationship with the Savior has been so incredibly enhanced and that everything I do in following Him and His servants feel so right. I'm a Mormon, I know it, I live it, I love it!

How I live my faith

Trying my best to live how Heavenly Father wants me to live is, I feel, just an incredibly small way of giving back to Him. The continuous mercy, love, and forgiveness He gives far surpasses my understanding and I know that in pretty much every case, I'm undeserving of the blessings; but I know who I am and that knowledge has helped me realize how important it is to go to Him for everything. Right now, I currently serve as a missionary and holy cow, it's such an understatement to say I've seen the blessings of the Gospel in people's lives. With all the energy of heart, I long for others to see those blessings and to just open their hearts to the message of the Gospel. In just about five months, so much has taken place within my soul and I know that as far as I've come, I never ever want to go back. It's so much more than just being a member of the church, it's being a witness that Jesus Christ lives and that His true church has been restored. It's the message of happiness that we continually love to share. He is counting on each of us to extend that love to all of our fellow men and just as we promise to be every week, we live to be examples of the Lord, Jesus Christ at all times, in all things, in all places.

What is being a Mormon like?

It's the best thing EVER! In this crazy world, it's the greatest thing to know that you have the answers to life's most important and meaningful questions. When you truly live up to the standards and commandments God gives us, you'll see that it's the best and most fulfilling way to live. Since I was a teenager, I've always seen God's standards as a blessing and never as restricting rules. I feel so blessed to stay away from all of the world's trends and the, to put it nicely, 'ridiculous baggage' that it carries. I've never been through half the trauma and suffering that others have gone through but I know well enough that what I have gone through has helped me rely more on the Savior. At the same rate, I know that because of the Gospel, I haven't had to go through what half of the world has had to go through and I completely attribute that to living up to what I've been taught as a Mormon. You might think you have to change everything about yourself but you don't. What you're really doing is cutting out the bad and only bringing in the good. The Gospel, when embraced, only enhances the life you already have and the good you have been blessed with. The difference is night and day, what more can I say? ;) I'm a Mormon, I know it, I live it, I love it! :) Show more Show less
