Hi I'm Eric

I live in Washington State. I like to play all kinds of sports, draw, and have fun with my friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Throughout my life I have played many sports like baseball, football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, ran track, and I want to learn how to play an instrument (Piano). I love to draw and like to learn new skills and techniques to make my drawings look more real. I love hanging out with people and trying new things. I love listening and singing along to Disney music. I love doing active things which include sports, hiking, camping, and other adventurous activities. I love my family very much and I love to be with them. I love to serve people and try my best to be as nice as I can to everyone. I served part of my 2-year mission in Las Vegas and finished in the Brasil Londrina Mission. I speak Portuguese. I love to meet people and explore different places.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is the restored gospel that Jesus Christ established on the earth. I know that Heavenly Father loves each of his children with a perfect love and has given us families to learn and grow together. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God who restored the gospel to its fulness and translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God. I also know this book brings peace, happiness, and assurance to everyone who reads it. I know that families can be together forever throughout eternity because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I have prayed and I have come to know for myself that this is the true church. My testimony of this gospel continues to grow stronger each day as I strive to reach my potential.

How I live my faith

Growing up I participated in the Boy Scouts of America and in the Youth Program in our church. I am an Eagle Scout and have gained many good qualities and character traits from living by the standards and values of this program. I helped lead and plan activities for both the youth of our church and in scouting. I was called as a teacher for my college ward/congregation and prepared and taught lessons for the men which teach us how to live better and more Christ-like lives.
