Hi I'm Megan

I'm from the east coast. I like to have fun! I pretend I have a British accent all the time. I'm a missionary and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Megan. I was born and raised in Ohio, but I consider Northern Virginia my home. I am the oldest of four kids. I love to play volleyball, even though I'm not very good at it. Once upon a time, I used to dance, but now I have no sense of rhythm (don't judge me if you do catch me dancing). I attend BYU and hope to one day figure out what to major in. I'm still a kid at heart--I love to scare my roommates every now and then or go to a playground and swing on the swing set until my legs hurt. I'll bust out into song or drum up some beat if I've gone without listening to music for awhile. I love accents and like to pretend that I have one.

Why I am a Mormon

I absolutely love the Gospel and am so grateful to have it in my life. I am truly happy. I feel a sense of peace and comfort -- no matter what comes along the way! I was born and raised in the Church, but just like those who join later on in life, I needed to gain a testimony. Through personal experiences, answers to prayer, putting the Gospel (the beliefs and teachings) to the test, and applying Christ's Atonement in my life, I know with all my soul that this really is true. I do not know every answer, but I know enough...there's nothing that has brought me so much lasting happiness. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which I live everyday, is true.

How I live my faith

I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and it's the best decision I've ever made! I love teaching and testifying of Jesus Christ and His restored Gospel. The Gospel and the beliefs I cherish have brought me so much joy -- so what would be better than sharing that with others?
