Hi I'm Sheri

I'm a Mormon. I'm also a breast cancer survivor.

About Me

I am a Licensed Customs Broker. I'm 50 years old. I've been married for 23 years and we have 3 sons. I love to go camping. I enjoy crosstitching, reading, and eighties music. My oldest son is on a mission for the church in Japan.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the church when I was twenty years old and was attending college. I have always had a desire to attend church and be relligious and really didn't have an opportunity to do so when I was growing up. A friend from college introduced me to the church and I started talking to the missionaries and learned more about the church. Everything made so much sense. I started reading the Book of Mormon and praying and the Holy Ghost confirmed to me in my heart that the teachings were true. I decided to get baptized. This year will mark thirty years of me being in the church. The gospel is such a big part of my life. It's who I am and what I know to be true. I look forward to being with my family forever if we are all righteous. I love the Savior and am thankful for his sacriface for me. I know that Heavenly Father knows and loves each of us.

How I live my faith

I am a youth leader and I try to bring the young women in our church unto Christ. I teach them lessons on Sunday. On Tuesday nights we have activities that are fun, spiritual, and/or educational. During the summer we go to a youth camp with the young women for a week and we hike, swim, learn camping skills, sing songs, plan skits and have a LOT of fun.
