Hi I'm Christina

I am a mom, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend.

About Me

I am a wife and mother. I love to read, crochet, and sing obnoxiously loud in the car. For most of my life I lived on a tropical island called Saipan. But now this island girl is getting used to the snowy weather of North Dakota. It is a learning experience, but I am up for the challenge. Thankfully my crocheting skills have come in handy for the cold weather!

Why I am a Mormon

I looked into the church for many years. About 9 to be exact. I would listen to the missionaries and then eventually shrug them off. But one day my son asked me what happened when we die. I had to think about it because I really had no answer. I was a single mom too, so it wasn't like I could just say "go ask your father." It was all on me and I had to make sure I gave my son the right answer. A true answer. So I began doing my research and talking with friends and eventually, talking with the missionaries again. I learned that families will be together forever and if we follow Heavenly Father's plan then we have all eternity to be together. A couple of months later, I was baptized. It was one of the best days of my life. Since my baptism, I have had many blessings. I am remarried to an amazing man and have more children. My life is so blessed because of the gospel. I know it's because I took the time to pray and ask with a sincere heart if the church was true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by acting how I think Heavenly Father would want me to act. For example, the other day I saw a woman waiting outside the library. It was 6 degrees outside and she looked really cold. I took off my scarf and gave it to her. It may not seem like a lot, but it's the little things that matter. Little acts of kindness for the people around us, whether we know them or not, can make such a difference.
