Hi I'm Greg

I read the Bible as a child, the Book of Mormon while at UM-Ann Arbor, was married in the DC Temple. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have two children. One was adopted through LDS Family services. Our family loves a weekly family night where we play games, read from the scriptures or watch Gospel themed videos. In my spare time I enjoying golfing, landscaping and travel. Some day I hope to visit Europe.

Why I am a Mormon

I gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon by reading it and praying to the Lord about it. I had friends who invited me to church and were willing to reach out to me. I met with the church missionairies many times, over a long period. I wasn't looking for a new church but I've always believed in Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven. The Gospel touched my heart and the teachings made sense with what I already new. There were many new principles and practices that I learned. Having been an altar boy as a child I was familiar with the rituals of another church and was open minded to things that were new to me. I also read all the books in the Library about Mormons and they actually strengthen my belief in the church, even when that was not their goal. I am grateful for the blessings and understanding that the Gospel has given me.

How I live my faith

We attend Sunday church service every week as a family. Sunday is the Lord's day where we worship with other church members, and visit with family and friends. We try to keep the Sabbath Day holy as taught in the scriptures. We even enjoy visiting other church Wards when we travel and have met many friendly people of faith all over the country. I enjoy the lessons we learn in Sunday School. I read the scriptures while I commute on the bus. I enjoy learning from the lay ministry each week as we all strive to learn more about the teachings of Jesus and what he would have us do.
