Hi I'm Eric

I was born and raised in the great Ohio. I love playing volleyball and ultimate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student at Brigham Young Univeristy, looking to major in Mechanical Engineering. I love playing and watching sports. I have done track, football, drumline, volleyball, ultimate, and basketball. I also love music with a passion. I have participated for many years in church choirs and also school choirs, including show choir for 2 years. I have also competed in a ballroom dance competition. I love to hang out with my friends, take the ladies out on fantastic dates, and I love being with my family. I am the 6th of 9 children in my family. I love having a large family because I have learned so much from them and I love them tremendously.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be one. I understand what it means to be one. For me, it means living worthily and up to a great standard. I love the church because even though it may seem that it is restrictive, for me it is a truly great freedom. I don't feel burdened because of addictions or any other bad things. I am happy with who I have become and how the church has helped me become the best person I can be. I love being a Mormon because of the wonderful relationships that I have with friends, my family, and my Heavenly Father. I love my Savior Jesus Christ, who I know atoned for my sins to make it possible for me to return back to my Heavenly Father if only I keep myself worthy. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a great source of happiness for me because of the knowledge and truth I have gained from it. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that he did restore Christ's church back on the earth, and I know that we have a true and living prophet on the earth today in Thomas S. Monson. I know these things are true because I have prayed and found these things out for myself, and the Holy Ghost has beared its witness to me that it is true. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have been able to serve in many callings in the Church. Most recently I was able to help with the finances of my ward as an assistant ward clerk. I was also able to serve as a home teacher and visit many people on a monthly basis and help them in any way I could.
