Hi I'm Jana

I am from New Zealand and I trust in God's plan for me!

About Me

My parents cherish the teachings of the church. They have been good examples to me as I developed a personal love for Christs' teachings. For a period of my childhood we lived in a town that did not have a church building. On Sundays, we drove to another city to attend church. On one of those long rides home when I was hot and unable to sleep, I asked myself 'Why do we have to go to church?'. The answer that came was a simple and reassuring thought. My father would not take us if it wasn't right. That answer was enough for a little girl to know that on Sunday's, she would always go to church. As we follow the thoughts and impressions that prompt and inspire good, a love for and understanding of Christ's teachings grows. Many experiences in my life have helped me to further develop a personal appreciation for Christs teachings. I rely on the principles of the gospel in every aspect of my life. Our Heavenly Father knows that throughout our life we have difficult experiences. He knows that we have questions. He has provided the answers. As we ask, He will give us the answers that we need.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed that I have been a member all my life. Over time I have strengthened my testimony of the Church. Growing up I was in areas where people didn't share my beliefs, but this helped me appreciate the principles of the Gospel that blessed my family even more. When people begun to ask me about my beliefs more frequently I was able to really open up the Book of Mormon and read it, and find answers.

How I live my faith

I continue to live my faith by serving a full time mission for 18 months, in Salt Lake City. It has been a special faith promoting experience for me.
